Why list with us
A basic listing is free
No fee and no contract. Send us the details, a person checks them, and your listing goes live.
Found by the right families
Every listing carries dates, ages, price, indoor or outdoor and a map pin, so it turns up when parents filter for exactly what you run. We're also adding structured data that search engines can read.
School holiday placement
Holiday programs appear on our school holiday pages, grouped by week, next to the official dates for your state, which is where parents look when the holidays are close.
What we need from you
- Your organisation and a contact email. We use the email only about your listing, and it isn't published.
- What it is: an event, a place that's open regularly, or a program such as classes or a holiday program.
- Where it is (the suburb, and the venue name if it's not your own) and when: dates and times, or opening hours.
- A short description in your own words, including the ages it suits and the price, or that it's free.
- A link where parents can book or find out more.
Listings are for activities that welcome children and families. You're responsible for the accuracy of what you send, and for meeting your legal obligations, including Working With Children Checks for staff and volunteers where your state or territory requires them. The full detail is in our terms.
Photos can't be uploaded yet. If you have photos you own and are happy for us to use, say so in the description and we'll be in touch.
Submit a listing
One listing per form. Every field is required unless it says optional.
What happens next
A person reads every submission. We check the details against your website, then publish the listing or email you if something needs clarifying. We don't send an automatic confirmation email yet, so don't worry if you don't hear from us straight away. To change or remove a listing later, email hello@infokids.com.au.
Councils and libraries
If you publish a what's-on calendar, we'd rather read it than retype your events. Tell us where it lives (an iCal, RSS or JSON feed, or a calendar page) at hello@infokids.com.au, and we'll look at adding it as a source. We always link back to your page.
Advertising
We don't sell advertising yet. When we do, it will be featured spots in listings and in the weekend email, always labelled as promoted and kept separate from our own picks. A free listing will stay free. If you'd like to hear when featured spots open, email hello@infokids.com.au.
