When the kids ask their mothers for some tasty snacks, lunch or dinner, it is always a big question for them as to what should be prepared now. Once a kid says that he is hungry, he does not give much time to his mother to think about the choice of food. In this case, an easy trick is to get the child involved in the cooking process. By doing this, the kid not only learns cooking and helps the mother; but also gets his choice of food which he eats happily without any complaints.

Delicious sushi and ham balls
Ingredients
Sushi rice 1 cup
Rice vinegar 2 tbsp.
Salt to taste
Small avocado ½
Cucumber 1/3
Ham 100gms
The method of preparing the dish is as follows
Bring the sushi rice to a boil in a saucepan, and simmer for 10-15 minutes. Set aside the rice from heat, mix with vinegar and then transfer to a baking tray. Let it cool and then make small balls of the mixture with slight wet hands. Put the avocado and cucumber pieces in the center of balls and then wrap the ham strip around each ball. The tasty sushi ham balls are ready.
Preparing mini sausage rolls
Ingredients
Minced sausage 250gms
Tomato puree 1 tbsp.
Frozen and thawed puff pastry 3 sheets
Beaten eggs 2
Breadcrumbs ½ cup
BBQ sauce 1 tbsp.
Grated zucchini 1
Grated carrot 1
Chopped onion 1
Minced beef 250 gms
Method to prepare
Mix all the ingredients and half the eggs excluding the pastry in a big bowl and preheat the oven to 200c. The mixture is to be rolled in 6 long shapes and then again rolled into pastry sheet which is cut in halves. The remaining egg is brushed over, and then the sausage rolls are baked for 20-25 minutes until golden.
Recipe for delicious pizza
Ingredients
Pizza base
Olives 4
Sausage 2 slices
Red capsicum 2 slices
Tomato puree ½ cup
Button mushroom 4 slices
Grated cheese
Rindless bacon 1/3 cup
Method to prepare
You can prepare this pizza with a twist. Olives can be used on the base to make eyes, sausage for the nose, mushrooms for ears and bacon for hair. Spreading the pizza base with cheese and all the ingredients and baking it for 5-10 min until golden will make an interesting and tasty dish for kids.
Chicken drumsticks for kids
Ingredients
Honey 2 tbsp.
Chicken drumsticks 1.5 kg
Sesame seeds
Dark soy sauce 2 tbsp.
Sweet chilly sauce 2 tbsp.
Tomato sauce 2 tbsp.
Method to prepare
Stir honey, tomato, chilly and soy sauce together. Cover the drumsticks in the mixture after cutting few slits in them to let the sauce get inside properly. Keep the marinated drumsticks in the fridge and then prepare the baking tray by lining with baking paper and sprinkling sesame seeds. Bake for almost 40-45min and keep turning the drumsticks to bake them properly.
Easy and tasty Annabel chicken
Ingredients
Mayonnaise
Chicken tenderloins

Method
Let the kids crush all the chips and put them in a bowl. Cover the chicken pieces with mayonnaise and then with the crushed chips. Bake the prepared pieces for 10 minutes or more, depending on the size.
Mini quiches for kids
Ingredients
Grated carrot 1cup
Self raising flour 1cup
Milk 1 ½ cup
Grated cheese
Chopped bacon 1cup
Grated zucchini 1cup
Chopped onion1/4 cup
Eggs 3
Method
Mix the entire ingredients together finely. Transfer them into a muffin tray which is already dusted with flour and greased with olive oil. Bake until the mixture is set, at 150c. Let it cool, and the mini quiches are ready.
