Ice skating is a fun and healthy activity that can be enjoyed all year round, and in Darwin, it’s a great reprieve from the heat, and even more so when combined with the humidity of the build-up to the wet season. Darwin Ice Skating also has a range of activities, including learning to ice skate lessons; Learn2Play ice hockey sessions; junior and senior ice hockey competitions; senior drop-in hockey; ice skating and figure skating shows; school physical education classes; discounts for corporate group bookings such as team-building outings; and birthday parties.

The Tangled Maze is a place where the whole family can enjoy a great day out. Relax and enjoy the fabulous outdoor activities of the Maze, Mini Golf, Giant Chess, Naughts, and Crosses. The kids can play till they drop. If the weather is not so kind the indoor Laser Tag and Amazing Synthetic Ice Rink will fulfill an exciting experience!

Get those skates on kids, because we’re off to Perth Ice Arena for a very COOL family day out in Western Australia’s capital! If kids want to change it up, they can join the Learn To Play Hockey sessions, or for those who want to learn the basics, the Skating Academy is great for building that confidence on the blades. The Pro Shop has the right machinery to keep your skates razor-sharp to give you the edge. After a good workout and a lot of fun, you may be feeling a bit hungry. Ice House Café has all you need to keep going. Dine-in or take away it’s your choice.

The Winter Village is a popular alpine-inspired winter wonderland pop-up in Brisbane, Melbourne, Adelaide, and Perth, with Parramatta as the Sydney location also added to the schedule. The village is a truly magical winter wonderland where you will find an ice rink, a pop-up bar & kitchen, snow showers, and a unique igloo village. It’s a must-visit destination suitable for the whole family. Hit the ice rink for a skate, feast on delicious food and drinks from our pop-up bar & kitchen, and wander through the twinkling igloo village, filled with catered private igloos to keep you cozy all winter long.

The main attraction of the festival is the beachside ice skating rink. Where else in the world can you ice skate in the sunshine or under the stars with the waves of the beach in the distance? Strap on a pair of skates and glide around the ice for a fun and exciting time. There will also be a fabulous show on the ice to delight spectators of all ages.

The entire Darling Harbour landscape will come alive with a winter festival atmosphere featuring free activities, fireworks, live performances, decorations and the precinct’s best eating and drinking. A giant arctic ice slide and themed harbourside ice-skating rink by Cockle Bay, with regular skating displays and ice dancers.
