Ballarat Wildlife Park is an award winning Park that is owned and operated by Greg Parker and his family.
Founded in February 1985 through a passion for conservation of wildlife and the environment. The Parker family have long realised the value of allowing people and animals to come together in a relaxing, friendly and educational environment.
Children can experience close contact with koalas, wombats, kangaroos and even crocodiles. Be “wowed” by Tasmanian Devils and the beautiful Southern Cassowary, Xena. Ballarat Wildlife Park houses a rich collection of native Australian wildlife in 16 hectares of natural bushland.
In late 2013, a five metre long Super Croc ‘Crunch’ was introduced to a brand new million-dollar Crocodile enclosure at the Ballarat Wildlife Park. Visitors can now see Crunch perform in a daily feeding show.
A free guided tour runs every day at 11:00am, with free Animal Presentations running from 1:30pm daily.
Be mesmerised by the Park’s Little Penguins, swimming past in their state of the art enclosure and enjoy a break at Café Brolga whilst watch the beautiful birds in the aviary.
You will not want to miss the newest addition to the family – six cheeky Meerkats.
