The Listies are bringing Ickypedia to live on stage. This performance is filled with chaotic fun that will make you fall off your seat laughing.

Steve Backshall knows a lot about deadly wildlife, and he is going to share them to everyone on stage. A show not to be missed.

  1. Class Clowns – 2019

This event is part of the Melbourne International Comedy Festival’s development program to encourage secondary school children to show off their comedic creativity.  There will be a prize up for grabs – for the best comedy performance.

Two of Australia’s favourite comedy acts will deliver a show-stopping performance. Depicting on stage the lives of The Wright Brothers – pioneers of flight.

  1. Room on a Broom

An adaptation from the award-winning picture book by Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler. This performance is about a witch and her cat, who goes on an adventure to defeat the dragon. In their quest, they come across a bit of bad luck. To find out if they can overcome their problems then you must come down to the Riverside Theatre.

This is an excellent event for young children to showcase their writing/storytelling skills and get a chance to meet industry mentors.

  1. Terror Bites Storytelling Workshops

This workshop will spook the daylights out of everybody. Not really, but it will get everyone talking. In this workshop, participants will be able to come together and record scary stories. This is the only time you will be able to hang out in a group, record your story and have fun in the dark side.

Date & Time: Monday – 15th & Thursday – 18th of April 2019 at 9.30 am – 3.30 pm.
Suitable for: ages 8-12

  1. Wolfgang’s Magical Musical Circus

Created by Yaron Lifschitz with Benjamin Knapton and the Circa Ensemble -This musical/circus performance will depict another side of Mozart, a well-known classical composer. See to what mischief Mozart gets up to – in this performance.

  1. Hitler’s Daughter

Based on the book by Jackie French – Hitler’s daughter is a performance about four school children who engage in a storytelling session. They all share stories until Anna, one of the children start to tell her story – about the daughter of Hitler. From there, the performance will dance between the era of Nazi Germany to contemporary Australia.
