In yoga I teach my students “to try easy not hard” and don’t push, don’t force. So yoga mat is a sacred space where a child can experience play and focus without any pressure or competition. Yoga is amazing for all kids, especially those kids who shy away from physical and/or group activities because of the fear of failure or not performing to the parents/teachers expectations. Yoga is not just physical postures it incorporates values of non-harming, truthfulness, moderation, cleanliness, gratitude, and self-discipline. These values will instill compassion, confidence and strength of character in our children, and will make them model citizens.
Introducing the Wellbeing Program and an exciting new ‘Video Library’ for both Lower and Upper Primary School students. Our 30-minute classes are written and delivered by an experienced Primary School Teacher and include movement through yoga poses, mindfulness techniques, breathing strategies, a relaxation component and much much more.
